A carer is someone who is unpaid and supports a relative, partner, friend or neighbour. Carers come from all walks of life and can be any age. Carers save the country, as a whole, in excess of £120 billion every year. Caring is often for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year, with no pay and no holidays!
